What a week and there is still time!

                                                                             Well the week seemed to go by fast with all the running around in between Charles and Lynn hung my lights!

I also found these super cute knobs in Homer for $4 each how cute are they!!      then Lynn and I made necklaces this morning here's a few

I thrifted myself

Yesterday we finished up the yard sale and before I said everything is free now I snagged the last set of plates
for myself, I had some ladies that were looking in the store for a bit at tablecloths and from across the room I saw these two mid century ones. I have so many in the store sometimes you forget what you have. So I will put it on the table for Lynn's visit. They come in this afternoon from Portland.

I also had to show you I had forgot I had bought this pretty coverlet quite a few years ago and so I freshened up the couch for a more spring look, the kids think I'm crazy their like no one is going to notice but how these little changes can make a mom happy!

I better start cleaning before they get here but stay tuned tomorrow I'm going to post a giveaway, I came across it in the store yesterday and I think someones going to love it.......

whats up, its just a yard sale

Now Phil and I were not quite this hip at are yard sale but we did good as did my other friends. The best is seeing all my regulars!!!!

I don't have a garage like this lovely lady, ...here is one shot of my yard sale,

I have to share Amanda had stopped by with these wigs for Mimi, they were left over from her yard sale. Cory who's ten had on a gray curly wig and Mimi looked like Florence Henderson from the Brady Bunch in her blond wig and they were goofing around in these wigs just being KIDS.....and this crab told Mimi to move away because she could not concentrate, its a yard sale for heavens sake! now disrespect I don't tolerate but kids being kids is precious.  They played with those wigs for hours.   Too funny Oh one more thing I had a stack of bright colored enamelware bowls big ones and I had a $1 a piece on them and this lady asked and I told her and she huffed her way back and set them down as if I insulted her....What up, isn't that cheap?

Its rained all day almost so I'm praying for sun tomorrow

 and I hope it all sells so I don't have to pack it somewhere!

I know my orders are all tall ones but a girl can hope!

I had to post something happy to lift my spirits....
because I am a little frazzled.
 I am a little nervous about Lynn's(Phil's sister) visit only because I have never met her
boyfriend and Phil may have to work the whole time so that leaves me as entertainer
with the kids, it will be fine.....

Phil came through not to long ago and said he forgave me for being so crabby!

they really are from a different planet sometimes I think!

Something Funny!

I had to share something sweet,

I'm so sorry I have not had a chance to comment on all your lovely blogs,

I will catch up....

now having said that I'm having quite a week

Fri/sat is the garage sale

and Sunday Phil's sister is coming to visit with her new boyfriend for a week

so getting ready, trying to clean the house

I'm not going to kill myself in that dept.

I had to take Mimi to the Doctor they thought she

might need her tonsils out, she doesn't

Thank God.

But last Monday

I sent Cory and Mimi out back with a

bag of corn to shuck for me

I thought they would enjoy that.

Jeremy came through the door

and said you know they just through all

the corn into the woods...

they thought I said chuck

they had never heard of shucking corn

I laughed and sent them into the woods

to find our dinner!
