Spritzdekor
spritzdekor check her blog.
Martha Stewart's May issue has a lovely article
on Spritzdekor. I fell in love !
I have seen a piece here and there.
Never knowing the proper name
and how many lovely pieces that are out there.

Now when you read the article and it gives prices.
Its a little disappointing.
the covered dishes go for $100-$200.

Yet the plates are $30-$40
How fun would they be
clustered on a wall.

I love there funky little patterns.
abstract fun.
that the Museum has to offer.
Its written in German,
so of course I was lost,
but the pictures
are wonderful.
this May issue is a must have of
Martha.

what is your go-to cookbook?
but I love that all the recipes are only 5-6 ingredients.
I just received this cookbook as a gift
from my friend Amanda.
( stinkpot)
My family blames her for getting me hooked on
blogging, she was right I love it....
I can't wait to try out some of these recipes.

This cookbook I bought in Seattle at a garage sale.
It is full of amazing recipes,
I use it all the time.
this one is as beautiful on the inside
as the wonderful recipes.
I love the apple oven pancake!!
sooooo good.

Living in Alaska with all of our fresh seafood.
this has incredible recipes.

For baking
these two our my favorites
I have had them for years.
I'm a messy cook,
so my pages are always
getting gooped up.
drives my Mom nuts in the summer
when we cook together.

I have to share this recipe
the pictures not so hot
it came
out of my Coastal living Magazine.

You saute the shrimp and butter
and garlic just till pink
then mix all the other ingredients
except the cheese, chips and jalapeno slices
spread this over the chips
sprinkle with the cheese and jalapeno slices
and broil 3-6 minutes and serve.
It is to die for!
12 more days and I'll be back cooking
for clients what are your favorites?
I'd love to hear.

she loved it....
It was full of little handmade quilt pieces..

More sweet treasures from Lynn....
that came in a beautiful tin.

(first picture)
check out this vintage pillow made by Vickarooni..
she took a granny afghan apart and crocheted
this beautiful edge on...

and last This is one of two of my new Amy Butler
tunics my mom made for me.
I love them.
I should have taken a picture of it on the mannequin..
to do it justice, to lazy..
Our 14yr old came down with the flu last night
I pray the rest of us are spared the misery of it..
YUCK.

A dreamy kitchen redo
Hudson Goods
I love this mix match kitchen.
I so want to get back into working on the house.
we have done nothing since Lynn's visit.
But this was a much needed break!
(Nsk cabinets)
We have that one bare wall where I took out my pantry cupboards
and put in our bedroom, which I still love!
the much needed storage...
This is sweet ..I love the color

Stop that truck.
I think it would be fun to mix match pieces of furniture
on that empty wall.
like some of the pieces
in the pictures above .
But built ins are always nice to.
glass doors a must.
decisions.
It will probably be this fall though,
for this project because
we have only 2 weeks left of
freedom till the first clients arrive
at the lodge.
and so the busy season
begins!
