Better than a chocolate bunny...

How amazing is this souvenir of New York.
I Love this charm its a little book...

At church yesterday my Pastor said he had a box for me and to my surprise
it was filled with his late mothers jewelry..

I t was filled with odds and ends and some real lovely pieces
for me to put in the store.

You can see my munchkins waiting in the shadows
to go through all the little boxes and bags.
This was the best Easter candy of all times....

Something Sweet! Something Messy!

I decided to start revamping the store this morning.
Phil said he would help me move furniture around
but he soon left and was never found till dinner.
Diane who also had an antique store will agree
when you move one display It turns into
almost all of them...
I'll have to take pictures when I'm done.
My poor customers today,
I had to keep apologizing for my explosion of creativity.
I finished this one corner and quit...
I figured it would all be there Monday.
and went to baking for our dinner after church.
I 'm bushed.
I wish I could give you all a pastry and wish you
a blessed Easter!
with a cup of coffee of course.

Crochet to a whole new level...

This is in Mexico...
The red thread

Vicki brought three of these books to our
eat to much work on crafts day..
I didn't post any pictures because we really
didn't get a lot done but it was a great day
just kind of relaxing...
back to the books ,they were amazing.
I want to learn
and if I can't be taught.
thank God for etsy.

See what I mean and this is nothing
compared to whats in those books.
Maybe I'll take to it like a fish to water and I can cover our truck !

I fell in love...

This BLOG is pure eye candy!!

Easter weekend...

This is what I'm hoping to wear to church,
that is if Bonbon can get it done...
always have a back up.
mine will be trying on everything in the closet.
with Phil about to have a heart attack...
we go through this quite often...
were leaving Easter morning at 6am to make church in Anchorage
180 miles away give or take a few...

I wish we had this scene for spring,
but the snow and dirt mix is quite lovely also..

I have these dishes for sale in the store all put away
I better get them out this weekend.
I have about 6-8 different patterns of these.
they are one of my purchases that never sold.
Its always hard to know what floats
some peoples boats....

I don't have to cook this Easter but I think I'm going to miss
setting the table its one of my favorite things to do
but I get to see my whole family dressed up and the kids
smiles looking for Easter eggs....
Happy Easter

Busy Day...

Cory our middle stinker
finally let me take his picture.
He won 2nd place in the 4th-6th grade division.
the spelling and geography bee...
I missed the award ceremony,
because I was with my parents at the grand opening of
WALMART.

How sad is that, In my defense I forgot to read the student news!
Boy was there good people watching at Wall mart though, WOW.
but like someone reminded me I was not at
NORDSTROMS!

Yeah my living room back together
I had fun rearranging it but this seemed the best.
now I need to find some great curtains..

I baked to apple pies this morning for craft day and
the house smells so good.
I can't wait to see how everything turns out!!
