I'm loving it!

It's been discontinued.

Yesterday I had a Cabi party.

I have to say it was fun I made crab quiche

and a Kale and watercress salad

with grapes and goat cheese!

If your not familiar with Cabi

it's like a pampered chef party only with clothing.

With it getting darker
I like the rest of you ,I'm into my candle light too.

This morning the glow looked so pretty but it was hard to capture it

My Big News.....

God willing the lodge sells , keep praying!

We have been planning for a couple of years now to go as a

family to Denmark, Norway and Sweden!

To celebrate my parents 50th but they want to wait

till the lodge has sold so we don't have to schedule

around the season.

So back to my news, this last week I had a thought
of what my life would be like without the store.
this thought grew and grew and I have decided
to close just for a few years and relocate the business.



My little store started 9 years ago and while I have so

enjoyed every minute of it,

visiting with the lovely people of my community

and decorating my way around the store and back.

I can picture my new location, now maybe not this grand
but just as lovely!




So with some of my new free time
I'm going to learn how to grow plants and garden
there maybe some disastrous posts through
this growth area but between
Madelief and Diane
I hope they can help me!


Maybe learn how to sew or Crochet
Right now I'm unteachable!







So while my little store has filled me up with such Joy
and has been a success!
I'm going to drink more coffee,
spend more time with my kids
God Willing go on a trip
the Sky's the limit!

But for starters
we are going to connect the store and the house
which will give us much needed space.
A family room so after I have had my fill
and they start fighting I have a place to send them!

I can already picture it decorated!

I'm so excited......

Color Anyone?

One of my Magazines was cancelled and I ended

up with this Lucky Magazine in it's place. Usually these fashion magazines

are filled with outfits that real people

would never wear in public.
I love these outfits!

These shorts I'd switch to a skirt.

Love these shoes!

This has been a busy week

We found out on Sunday

that my brother and his wife are

expecting their first child in June.

Yesterday we found out that someone is

flying up to take a look at my parents fishing lodge

that's for sale....say a prayer!

I'm off to clean and tidy up!

Snow snow Snowman....

Well I think it's here to stay!
It snowed all night and all day
my girlfriend lives a 1/4 mile from us and she
was without power for 9 hours and counting
when she called me yesterday.


The snow was that beautiful wet kind
great for making a snowman!

So Mimi and I went to town on making

a perfect snowman family.

so pretty

I love when it clings to the trees.

We baked a little sugar free/fat free

pumpkin bread.

yes it did taste about as bad as it sounds.

I tried what can I say.

the coffee helped wash it down!

I think after church

we will have to find a sledding hill today!

Alot of snow and a little Christmas!

Every day I get closer I seem to have alot of distractions....
All of my Christmas is out
now I just need a little tweaking here and there....

this morning.

It's coming down in buckets and our lights flickered

so I hope we don't lose power.

Now that Halloween has passed I'm ready for

snow so snow snow snow!

before I got married for 9 years I worked
in management always in bed linens!

at 20 I was the store manager for a linen
company I had 10 employees
and over 6,000 sq ft of store to take care of.

What I regret is not going to college!








6. I only wear Dansko or Sanita clogs
all day, everyday.
boring I know!





If I had my choice over new furniture or antique furniture
antique always all day everyday!
