Special things..

This morning while changing my bed linens....
I still love these Anthropologie pillows
Mimi made her bed ,she did it all by herself !
What a little helper I have.
I was so proud of her.

then she came and helped me
I don't know why duvet covers have to be such a pain in the butt!

I framed these a long time ago 12 yrs to be exact.

This is my Grandpa and Grandma Andersen's
wedding certificate from September 27, 1916

this is my Grandma Bredesen
confirmation certificate with her picture.
I love the details!

Its all written in Swedish
I love the Bible verse.

So beautiful

Now our certificates are so blah,
unlike the art work so long ago.

  1. Hi Heidi,

Can't we swap bedrooms? They look so lovely with all the different fabrics and patterns. Your daughter made up her bed beautifully!! If only we had Anthropologie in Holland....

The certificates are little pieces of art. Wish they still made them like this! Enjoyed your last post too. That wall with the housecoat looks great!!

    Wish you a happy weekend!

    Lieve groet, Madelief

  4. I've been thinking of redoing my grandparents wedding certificate. That's really pretty the way you did those. Very pretty beds, too. Oh, and I like your idea about the wallpaper. When I first looked at it I thought it was on the wall. This is better, though. Diane

  5. Hi, I've just come to you via Little Ted Canvas! Your framed certificates are divine, and yes, they don't make them like that anymore. I love old decorative pieces, artwork, buildings, furniture. My husband is Swedish born, are you? Anyway it's nice to meet you & I hope to visit your lovely blog again xo
