A Valentine....

Since I closed the shop I have been so busy with Phil
and the PTO at school

That when I found out I was going to have the whole
day to myself....

Bliss.....Quiet.....

So I watched the tear jerk er
the Locator's show.
where Mothers and Daughters
or Father and sons
are reunited after adoption
and you hear there stories.
After 2 hours I had to change the channel.
so sad and happy at the same time!

I brought out the Valentines and decorated.
Diane do you notice some treasures...

I took the fabric off this shade

It snowed some more today

Phil may have been gone but I did have someone lurking out the windows
today keeping an eye on me.
I hope you all had just as wonderful a day as I did.
now I'm off to get the kids.
I also have a favor can every one save me their
Boxtops for education that are on
certain food items.
I'm in a contest so I thought I would ask for some help!

I'm glad you had a day to yourself - but maybe keep away from the sad TV next time (well, unless you've got plenty of chocolate and tea to comfort yourself).

  10. Hi Heidi,

Your day sounds really good. It's been a long time ago since I had the house to myself. I am a little bit envious ;-)! It's good to hear that you are enjoying yourself. Love your green cups in the windowsill and your other little things from the shop.

I have a good feeling about your parcel. I think it will arrive any day now. Don't feel bad about the postage. I know how expensive it is!!!!

    Happy weekend!

    Lieve groet, Madelief xox

  11. Puts a new slant on the line from the song ...`There`s A Moose Loose Aboot the Hoose`! but the `moose` in question is actually Scottish colloquial for `Mouse`! Whenever I hear it from now one, I`ll think of your friend!
    Beautiful Valentine`s vignettes too.
