Spritzdekor

spritzdekor check her blog.
Martha Stewart's May issue has a lovely article
on Spritzdekor. I fell in love !
I have seen a piece here and there.
Never knowing the proper name
and how many lovely pieces that are out there.

Now when you read the article and it gives prices.
Its a little disappointing.
the covered dishes go for $100-$200.

Yet the plates are $30-$40
How fun would they be
clustered on a wall.

I love there funky little patterns.
abstract fun.

for more info check out the lovely images
that the Museum has to offer.
Its written in German,
so of course I was lost,
but the pictures
are wonderful.
this May issue is a must have of
Martha.

  2. Hi Heidi,

The items are very pretty indeed, but so expensive! They look as if they come from the Art Deco period?! I am right? Items from that period are very much wanted in Holland as well and therefore expensive here too :-(!!

    Wish you a good evening!

    Lieve groet, Madelief

  3. Hi Heidi, They are definitely a little smaller than my German pillows. It's hard to find covers for the German pillows, that's for sure! I might cut them up...

  4. Any way to verify a person is purchasing a spritzdekor and not just some fancy painted piece.

  7. I just found your site, and I *love* this style. I agree, a collection of those plates would be wonderful on a wall.
